Based out of Long Island, the Reunion Show formed in 2000 after lead singer Mark Thomas and drummer Skully left Step Lively. Adding former members of Waiting Process and Ednas Goldfish, the group began rehearsing in the New York area. Taking the name from a conversation in La Crosse, Wisconsin, Reunion Show immediately began touring in the tri-state area and eventually throughout the United States. In 2002, Reunion Show released its debut EP The Motion on Victory Records. Consisting of crunchy punk riffs with melodic pop, Reunion Show has been compared to Jimmy Eat World, Elvis Costello and The Cars.
